HANDCRAFT — two-handed cutting

A touch-first editor for iPad. Left thumb drives, right hand shapes. No hover, no mouse — just your hands.

Installs into the desktop editor; not used on iPad
Local files: the + local tile in the bin imports video and audio straight from Files/Photos (audio becomes the music bed). ProRes: tries native playback first — on iPad this may just work. Otherwise the editable-ffcodec sidecar builds a scrub proxy when one is running on the media root; local imports live for this session and ask for a one-tap relink after a reload.

Share plays the cut through the live engine — dissolves, grades, per-clip
        gain and the music bed all ride the capture — at the chosen render quality (default = the sequence’s declared class; 720p review; 1080p only when every source carries it), uploads it into
        the edit's Back to One project, and mints a One Review link anyone can watch and
        comment on. Save uploads without a link. Full-quality conform stays the desktop/native path.

      
      
One file: project JSON + a CMX3600-flavored EDL — conform in Resolve/Premiere, or
        re-import here to restore the exact cut (looks and dissolves included). Also loads via
        ?cutlist=<url>. FCPXML (1.11) and OTIO (JSON) are one-way out —
        layer-capable interchange for Final Cut, Resolve and OTIO-speaking pipelines; import
